28 Weeks
All is well on the pregnancy front and Baby T is squirming around like crazy. I never heard anything back from my doctor regarding my glucose tolerance test so I am assuming everthing came back normal. Baby T's room has definitely made progress but is still not ready with the Thanksgiving deadline looming.
My orthopedic doctor, Dr. Gross, is finally happy with my knee... that man is hard to please! Although it is still swollen, he can tell when he squeezes and pokes and prods that the swelling is from pregnancy not surgery. He does want to see me after I have Baby T to make sure everything is ok, and his team demands I bring the baby. They said they need to make a "Team Gross" onesie for her.
School is winding down but during these last few weeks they sure are packing in the exams. I have an upcoming standardized exam that we have to pass with a "900", what that means they won't tell us. I have been doing practice questions and the bad thing is that some of the "correct" answers have no common sense. To give you an example, one of the questions is about a nurse who is setting up a clinic in an urban area for immigrants who do not speak English and they want to know what the priority would be. The correct answer according to "them", the nursing Gods, is getting children immunized NOT having a healthcare provider who speaks their language. If I cannot communicate with the clients, how do I even get consent for the vaccincation? This makes me so mad I could just scream profanities. Would someone put earmuffs on Baby T? So needless to say I'm expecting to go down in flames.
