35 Weeks

35 weeks and can you tell I wanted it to be over?  I felt like a little kid, "are we done yet?".  Plus, I was battling a sinus infection and bronchitis.  As much as I ready to be done with pregnancy I was willing to endure the torture in order to spare Baby T the problems that coincided with an early birth.  My belly seemed to be getting bigger by the minute, and I was swelling more and more.  However, I was thankful that all of my problems were relatively minor, and this little girl seemed happy in her home.

For any men who might read this, get off your behind and help your pregnant significant other.  Somewhere along the line it seems as if men only sympathize with pregnant women who are not carrying their child.  It's like you are capable of doing everything but every other woman is exempt.  One night recently Randy told me about a couple he knew whom were moving.  He said "oh it's going to be really hard on him because she is pregnant and can't lift anything.".  I said "isn't she only about 20 weeks?".  He responded "yes".  I told him "just 2 weeks ago you asked me to help you move an 80 pound desk!".  He was lucky we were in a public place... I didn't want to scar any children with witnessing a murder.  But evidently if you need help with any heavy lifting, don't hesitate to give me a call.

Oh, and don't ever tell a pregnant woman is "big" or "bigger than so and so" or "getting bigger" no matter how far along she is in the pregnancy.  She knows she is big, and she doesn't need reminded of it.  Just for your information, my hormones alone warrant an insanity verdict.
