Emotions

On the way to our 12 week appointment we unfortunately saw a car in front of us hit a deer.  I had never enjoyed seeing the death of anything whether it be a squirrel, turkey, or bambi herself.  I was the type of girl who needed to separate the living animal from the one that was on my plate.  I loved animals too much.  So in my current highly emotional state, I burst into tears at the site of this poor deer.  I just kept crying and crying.  In an effort to get myself together before entering the doctor's office, I asked Randy if he had a napkin in his truck.  As I searched through the different compartments I found a folded up paper towel.  As I started to tear a piece off to sop up my tears, I noticed that there was something folded up in the paper towel.  The conversation went like this:  (H)anna - "There's a rice krispy treat in this paper towel."  (R)andy - "What?"  H - "There is a rice krispy treat in the paper towel."  R - laughter "How did that get in there?  I don't remember putting that in there.  That must of been in here for a long time."  H - "Like the last time I made rice krispy treats, which was in April."  (The month was currently the end of July.)  R - "Whoops!"  My tears instantly turned to laughter.
